DORRIS – DEWOODY, GLORIA GOLDIE., entered into rest Wednesday, January 4, 2005 age 71. A native of Boise, Idaho born Saturday, September 29, 1934 and a resident of Rio Linda for the past 56 years. Beloved wife of Vernon Dorris. Devoted mother of Rosemarie Young (Bill), Mickey Dewoody, Carol Dewoody and Annette Dewoody (John). Loving grandmother of Trena, Jessica, Gloria, Stephanie, Danielle, Lisa, Mickey Jr., Stuart also great-grandmother of Jerry, Marissa, Jessie, Archibald and Kylie. Dear sister of Rosemary Lockett, Linda Fuller and Lila Thompson. Also stepchildren Ron, Larry, Sharon, Richard and Steve. Along with several step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband Jerry Dewoody in 2000. She was a member of Friendly Tabernacle. The family invites you to attend a visitation 4:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 and a funeral service 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., CA 922-5833. Interment will be private by the family atSunsetLawnMemorial Park .
