Glenda Jean Barmes, 72, passed away surrounded by family on March 25, 2024 in Sacramento, CA.
Glenda was born November 16, 1951 in Vale, OR to Harold Hammond & Beverly Swift.
Graduating from Vale Union High School in 1969 then later in life working as a
Legal Assistant for the Federal Government.
She was preceded in death and now reunited with her father, mother, and brothers.
She is survived by her children Michelle (Greg), George (Dawn), Jolene (Robert), Charlene (Joey).
Grandchildren Sabrina (Billy), Jayme, Sean, Tony, Tylor, Destiny, Olivia, Joseph, Adriana, and Xavier.
Great grandchildren Analycia, Adrian, Stella, Emilio, and Ariella.
Glenda enjoyed many things in life, horses, bingo, scratchers, plants,
reading, baking and the TV show Big Brother.
The light of her life was her family.
Heartwarming fact about Glenda is that she donated monthly to Shriners Hospital for over 25 years.
