MASHBURN, GILBERT, entered into rest Sunday, January 29, 2006 inCarmichael at the age of 77. He was a native of Dardanelle, Arkansas born Wednesday, August 8, 1928 and a resident ofNorth Highlands for the past 40 years. Beloved husband of 57 years to Mary Lou Mashburn. Devoted father of Donald (Ronee Kay)Mashburn, Dottie (John) Breckenridge, Daniel Mashburn and Debbie (Chuck) Brannam. Dear brother to a twin brother Gilroy Mashburn, Russell (Freda) Mashburn and Donald (Betty) Mashburn. Loving grandfather of Dawn & Mike Riley, John & Sonya Breckenridge, Candy & N'namdi LeBlanc, Mike & Kameron Breckenridge, Kristopher & Shannon Mashburn, Ricky & Janelle Mashburn, Rachel & Ryan Kaufman. Great-grandfather of Courtney & Kaitlyn Riley, Anna & Gavin Breckenridge, Chloe & Kade Breckenridge, Kenyon Mashburn also 2 additional miracles due in the spring. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by sisters, Reba,Naomi, Virginia , Wanda also a brother Wade. He was a member of Golden Seniors Softball Club of Sacramento, IAFF Local 522, Pioneer Hook & Ladder Assoc.,FirefightersBurn Center , 10-7 Club,Nazarene Church, Del Oro Football Chain Gang.
