Gayle Renee Newman's Obituary
Renee was born to Robert Lehman and Sharon Kent on February 24th, 1963, in Sacramento, CA. She was born to two older brothers, Michael Lehman and Don Lehman, and three younger siblings, Laura Deniz, and Teresa Lynn Guy. Her younger brother, Scott, preceded her in heaven.
Renee grew up in Rio Linda, CA, in a childhood full of adventures from camping to riding her bikes with her friends to Brownies and growing up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She graduated from Rio Linda High School in 1980.
Renee married Mark Newman in 1988, and became a step-mom to his son, Toby. They began dating when she was 15 and continued dating into adulthood. Their loves spanned decades, 45 years together and nearly 36 years of marriage. Together, they welcomed new daughters, Alex and Kendall.
There were fewer things in life Renee loved more than her family and friends. She supported her family with fierce love and commitment, giving her all to her family. She loved to celebrate life's beauty. She loved sitting on her patio under her front yard tree to read or visit. Loved when the wind blew and the rain came each year. She had a kind greeting for everyone and was always interested in what family and friends were doing with their time.
Renee is survived by many loving family members: her husband, two children, one step-son, four grandchildren, two brothers, four sisters and sisters-in-law, fourteen nieces and nephews. and other relatives and friends who will all remember and miss her.
