GARY LYNN DUNN's Obituary
Gary, a longtime Elverta and Rio Linda resident, passed away due to heart failure while on vacation in Rawlins, WY.
He was born in Ogden, UT to Charles Oscar and Margaret Viola Dunn and was the youngest of their 8 children. He married Darlene (Hughes) Dunn on September 20, 1975.
Gary was a loving husband, wonderful father, beloved grandfather, cherished brother, uncle and friend to many. He was a well known local businessman who ran a successful Mac Tools distributorship and later owned GD Real Estate brokerage. Gary enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his family and remodeling houses.
He is survived by his wife Darlene, his daughter Nichol and her husband Kevin, his daughter Laura and her husband Jonathan, and his three grandchildren, Shaun, Bryn and Abigail. Also, he is survived by his brother Ivan and his wife Kathryn, his sister Gloria and many nieces and nephews.
A simple and casual service honoring his life will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento CA 95838 on July 09, 2024, 10-11 AM.
