Gale Henry Hill's Obituary
Gale H. Hill, 68, of Rio Linda, California, passed away on July 25, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. Gale was born on September 18, 1954 to parents Ray N. Hill and Katherine J. Hill in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Family moved to Long Beach, California when Gale was 10 years old. After graduating from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in 1972, he purchased his first horse and met the love of his life Cheryl. In 1975 he started a lifelong career of installing automotive sunroofs. He continued to install sunroofs until his retirement late in 2017. In 1980, he moved his family from southern California to Rio Linda, in northern California. Gale and Cheryl were married in 1976 and their daughter Tami was born in 1979 and son Brandon was born in 1981. Gale spent his time traveling, camping, and enjoying family time at home. Gale was preceded in death by his parents, older sister Mary and older brother Terry. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 47 years Cheryl, their children Tami and Brandon and their spouses Matt and Tara, as well as two grandchildren Andrew and Jonathan. He is also survived by his brother Neil and sister Rita and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones throughout the country.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday August 19th, 2023 at 11 am. The location will be at LifePointe Church, 7200 Rio Linda Blvd, Rio Linda CA 95673.
