Fredrick Lamonte Williams Sr's Obituary
Fredrick Lamonte Williams Sr. Was born on June 30th 1972 in San Bernardino, California to Ferrell Carter and Lola Williams. Fred was one of three children. Fred moved to Sacramento, California with his family in 1979. Where he finished out elementary at Kennedy Elementary, Junior High at Rutter, and Valley High School, where Fred ran track and always placed first for his division.
Fred lived his life as a helper and giver. He adopted families for the kids in his childhood neighborhood who were being bullied for not having bikes to receive bikes that he built and painted himself. He put together food boxes, organized clothes giveaways for those in need. He even became a mentor to young boys and girls in his community who were dubbed bullies. These boys and girls went on to play pop warner football, became dancers and cheerleaders for various teams and getting A’s in school. Fred was a pop warner coach for years where his teams played in and won championships. Fred loved sports, his favorite team was the 49ers. So much so that his niece Rachel dubbed them the Freddy 9ers after her Unk Mr. Krabby Patty.
Fred was baptized at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Texas where he was an assistant sound hand for the sound system staff there at his home church before moving back to Sacramento.
Fred was a music lover of all music and genres. Especially his son’s music and videos by Lil Fred. Which he always watched and played for others. His Love for music gifted him the opportunity to be a party and concert promoter for artists like MC8, Moss Major, T-Nutty, Spice 1, and others. He also aided in the opportunity to help design and draft a logo for Spice 1.
Fred the Entrepeneur wanted to start three companies with his siblings:
#1 Cut You Quick Yard and Hair. His motto, “Yeah it looks good but please don’t stare.” LoL
#2 #Ferrell’s Kids with Fred’s finest being served by his siblings in different cities from food trucks and or in a brick and mortar wearing uniforms designed by sister Lynn.
#3 His favorite K.T.E. LLC “If you know you know” LoL.
Fred loved fishing and playing scratchers. He would spend his winnings on lunch for his co-workers, and or his friends & family. Fred wore many hats, Fedoras especially were his favorite. Fred was a little shy, quiet, extremely intelligent, an avid reader and learner. Kindhearted, a fighter, selfless, he loved family, a valued employee, a respected OG of different communities, a mentor, a protector, a chef, proud grandfather and father.
Fred ascended on January 23rd, 2025 in Sacramento, Calif. He leaves behind his daughter Madi, his son Fred Jr. His mother Lola Williams. His ex-wife Julie. His daughter’s mother Karen. His many many many siblings, #Ferrell kids. An array of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and in laws. Childhood friends who quickly became family and a plethora of homies.
Fred will be forever loved, remembered, never forgotten and greatly missed.
