Eugenia Lopes' Obituary
LOPES, Eugenia F. ”Jean”Entered into rest on November 6, 2006 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 75. Eugenia was born November 19, 1930 in Providence, RI. She is survived by her children: Arthur (Diana) Lopes, Anthony Lopes, Debora (Bruce) Brummett, Judy Lopes, Christine (James) Cronin, Patte Lopes, Raymond Lopes, Eric Lopes and Terilynn Lopes. She is also survived by her brother, Eric Engstrom and 24 grandchildren along with 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Anthony (Tony) Lopes, her son, Earnest Lopes, and her grandsons Jack Moser and Lewis Lopes. She passed away peacefully with her family and best friend by her side. She was an avid fan of Tom Jones and would drive anywhere to see him perform or give him a sweater that she had knitted. She loved the ocean and light houses. She retired after many years with the Radisson Hotel and was currently employed with the “START” after school program. The family invites friends to attend a visitation Wednesday, November 15, 2006 from 4:00-8:00pm and funeral service Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 11:00am at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA.
