Essie Oretha Jackson's Obituary
Essie Oretha JAckson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 5, 1929 to Willie and Annie Edwards. Essie was the fifth child of twelve children. As a little girl, her and her family moved to Stockton, CA, where she grew into adulthood. She had give children of her own and after getting married to her now deceased husband, Enich Jackson, of 48 years; she gained a bonus child. She loved going to church, fishing, gambling, gardening, and canning. Essie had a beautiful smile, that would light up every room she entered. That is what we will miss the most.
She will be preceded in death by her husband Enich Jackson; three children Ocee, Charles, and Eleanor; Parents Willie and Annie; Siblings Amy, Ezeal, Floyd, George, Ulysses, Margaret and Lucille; and her Grandchildren Karen, Deon, and Sabrina.
She leaves to mourn her passing three children Florence, Deborah, and Marilyn; Brother Roy Edwards and Sister Verdale Jones, who took care of her until her last days. A host of Grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
