Erlinda Orosco's Obituary
Erlinda Orosco was born Erlinda Bernal on February 22, 1924 in Lordsburg, New Mexico to parents Jesus and Ruth. In the late 1920’s her family moved to California where they settled in Mt. View. In 1940 she met her future husband, Henry Orosco, and they were married in 1944. They soon began their family together having sons, Henry and Richard, then daughters, Theresa and Cindy. In 1963, the family moved to Sacramento and she gave birth to sons, Steve, James, and Vincent. In 1980, she lost her loving husband, Henry, after 36 years of marriage and remained a widow for 35 years but tomorrow they will be reunited when she is laid to rest in Santa Clara. In 2,000 she lost her son, Richard, who is laid to rest at this cemetery. She is survived by 6 children, 12 grandchildren, 21great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Linda loved camping, baseball (especially the Giants), spending quality time with family, cooking for her family and really loved road trips that resulted in spending money at the slot machines.
