Erica Latrice Thomas' Obituary
Erica Latrice Thomas was born on August 13th, 1990 in Bakersfield, California to loving parents Curtis D. and Ernestine Thomas. The family moved to Sacramento, California when she was thirteen days old. Erica was raised in Del Paso Heights where she attended North Avenue Elementary school where she blossomed and excelled in every subject. Erica was baptized in the name of Jesus at the tender age of twelve by Late Elder James W. Howard at Bible Way Apostolic Faith Church in Del Paso Heights. Erica eventually received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Erica graduated from Center High School in Antelope, California. She continued her education in order to pursue a career in the medical field because she really enjoyed helping others. Erica loved spending time with her family, taking pictures, listening to music, texting and watching her favorite show Law and Order. She was not a fashionista “that’s doing too much” she would say, but when it came to her hair she was the exact opposite, she always kept her hair on point.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her Loving father, Curtis D. Thomas and Beautiful mother, Ernestine Thomas. Brothers: Ron Curtis, Jr., Tyrus, Curtis and Wesley. Sisters: Nadine, Charlotte, Olie, Andrea, Tomika, Kim, Angela and Sierra. Uncles including Ernest C. Jefferies “Charlie B” who lives in Sacramento, California, aunts, Nieces, Nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Most importantly the ones who will miss her the most, Robert 6, gentle, sensitive and kind-hearted. Zariah 4, outspoken, outgoing, and charismatic just like her mom. Tony 3, Erica always said “he’s the real big brother” “Tasmanian” who don’t understand “no” the little mean machine.
