Emily Zucallo Morgan's Obituary
Emily Z. Morgan, 94, formerly of Rio Linda, CA, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2018 in Roseville, CA. Emily, a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.
Emily was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Calogino and Serafina Zucalo on June 10, 1924. She was married to Victor “Skip” E. Morgan on November 24, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida. In the early years of their marriage, Emily worked closely beside her husband, Skip, at their Café in Riego, CA. Later on, they worked together along with their grown children at their family-owned business, Morgan Realty, in Rio Linda, CA where they sold real estate and prepared taxes for the local community.
Emily is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor E. Morgan, her daughters, Madeline C. Morgan and Vicki R. Davis and her Son-In-Law, Roy E. Davis.
Emily is survived by her two sons, John Morgan and his wife, Rayna Becker and Ernie Morgan and his wife Cindy; her Grandchildren, Carrie Barlow, Cheryl Paul, Kevin and Tim Davis, Melissa and Marie Morgan, and Hayley and Shayna Morgan; her Great-Grandchildren, Emily and Cole Barlow, Olivia and Blake Paul, and Madeline, Cameron, Chase and Colin Davis. Emily is also survived by her Sister-in-Law, Mary Slight of Pleasant Grove, California.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in remembrance of Emily. The family of Emily Morgan wishes to extend our most sincere thanks to her doctors, Dr. Raquel Livoni and Dr. Jonathan Hemphill of Carmichael, CA as well as her caretakers Ana & Rodolpho Selin, who dedicated themselves to making Emily happy and comfortable in the last few years of her life.
A Celebration of Emily’s life will be held at a future date.
