Elizabeth Clarice Whiteford's Obituary
Elizabeth Clarice Whiteford, age 60, of Live Oak, was called back to her Lord Jesus Christ on January 17, 2018. She was born April 7, 1957 in Sacramento, CA. She was a graduate of Norte Del Rio High School. Liz lived in Wyoming, Colorado, and Texas before returning home to Rio Linda, California. Her love of kids led her to have a home daycare while raising her two youngest sons. Following that, she began working for the post office in 1997. This lead to one of her proudest achievements, becoming the Post Master of Biggs, CA office in August, 2016.
So many lives were touched by Liz. She had a special gift with everyone she met, she could make you feel like you were her very best friend. Liz taught us how there is an infinite amount of love because everyone she knew could feel it. Liz had one of the warmest, caring, loving souls and heaven is definitely receiving one of the very best angels.
This is not the end for Liz. She will stay in everyone’s heart. Go honor her by having a night out singing karaoke. See a movie. Tell stories about how she touched your life. Doing this will keep her always in our hearts.
Liz was survived by her husband James Whiteford. Her children Daniel and Kristen Gullickson, Amanda and Jeremy Trembly, Micheal and Leilani Crespo, Richard Crespo, Joey and Yvonne Whiteford, Kenny and Shannon Whiteford, Erin and Jessica Whiteford. Grandchildren: John, Davin, Piers, Xavier, Jordan, Ian, Camila, Koa, Kiala, Duke, Aubrey, Landon, Katherine, Alisha, Kinleigh, Adalynn, and Conner. She was proceeded in Death by her father Claude Riddle and mother Georgia Helmer-Riddle. Her siblings Richard Riddle, Claudia Smith, Barbara Gilbert, and Ginger Lambert.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on January 24, 2018 at Rio Linda Community United Methodist Church, 6800 6th St.,Rio Linda, CA 95673. A celebration of life will follow beginning at 1:00pm at the American Legion at 6700 8th St, Rio Linda, CA 95673.
