Dickison, Eldon G.'s Obituary
Eldon Garfield Dickison (93), a beloved family man, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on September 22, 2024. Born on June 19, 1931, Eldon lived a full life and experienced great struggle; however, even in his final years, he exuded love, kindness, and generosity.
Eldon was devoted to his family. He cherished his time spent with loved ones and made it a point to demonstrate his care. His generosity knew no bounds, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and he kept a ready supply of candy on-hand for visiting grandchildren.
Eldon’s wit, humor, and his love for sports, were also well known. In his younger years, he was an avid fisherman, spending countless hours on the ocean and at local rivers. He also had a passion for stockcar racing and made many memories with family and friends while helping his sons with their race cars at the local speedway. If you were to visit Eldon and his television was on, you can bet it was tuned to a sporting event or a good western.
Eldon will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, love, and fortitude will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have him in their lives.
