Edward Lee Wheeler's Obituary
Edward Lee Wheeler was born in Bastrop, Louisiana, November 20, 1932 and passed away on
May 24, 2015, in Sacramento, California.
He proudly served in the Army. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He worked for AeroJet in Sacramento, California and owned a Car Wash in Rancho Cordova. He valued the outdoors. He enjoyed all sports, fishing, hunting and he loved boxing.
He is survived by his beloved, devoted wife Peggy Marie Wheeler.
10 Children – Marshall, Barbara Anne, Gwen, Hosea and his wife Angie, Beverly, Robert and his wife Kiko, Kerry, Gina, Sid and his wife Michelle, Deborah and her husband Earl.
30 Grandchildren – Marshall Jr., Marshetta, Craig, Christopher L., Marcus, Kendrick, Jermain, Pierre, Damen, LeeAnn, Angelina, Hosea Jr., Joesae, Joesiyae, Carmeillo, Christopher Devaughn, Maraya, Joshua Edward, Katriena, Latrice, Veronica, Jandie, LaBresia, Christina, Joshua Todd, Alexis, Mariana, Tenisha, Taryn and Rachelle.
45 Great Grandchildren – a loving brother; John L. Wheeler; Nieces, Nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel Of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA on Monday, June 1, 2015 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 PM. the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 201 at 1:00 PM. Interment following the service.
