Edward Joseph Ramos' Obituary
Edward Joseph Ramos was born November 15, 1933 in San Francisco, California. His parents were Aghapito Tito Ramos and Lillian Montalbo. He was the second of five children. Edward attended Everett Middle School and Mission High School. After graduation he worked as upholsterer and then as a truck driver, retiring in 1991 after 22 years in the Teamsters Local # 85. The happiest day in Edwards’ life was when he met Matilda Garcia. It was love at first sight for both of them. They were married on June 2, 1951 in Reno, Nevada. They lived in several Cities, including Richmond, San Francisco, San Bruno, Reno and Rancho Cordova, raising their 5 children, Edward, Linda, George,Christine, Ben and Irene. His favorite hobbies were Leather crafts, Roses, Sewing and Inventing. He loved Country, Puerto Rican and Hawaiian Music. He had a strong belief of God within. He loved his family and special friends, Cyril Cavallo, Vince Watson, Cory and Amy Johnson, and Paul Gehrek. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends are welcome for visitation Saturday, December 14, 2013, 1:00 – 3:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA.
