Edward Clarence Lewis' Obituary
Edward C. Lewis passed away at home, April 5, 2012 at the age of 90 in Sacramento, CA. A lifelong resident of Sacramento, Ed was born July 11, 1921 in Florin, CA. He attended Arden School and graduated from Grant Union High School in 1940. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII and worked for the State of California, Dept. of General Services for 38 years.He loved to work in his garden and was always there to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. He and his wife of 64 years, Mary Jane enjoyed time spent with family and many trailer outings throughout California and Canada. Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane, parents, Charles Robert and Martha Elanore Lynde Lewis, seven brothers and one sister. Ed is survived and greatly missed by his daughter Nancy Lowe (Gary), grandsons Steven and Michael Garcia, John (Racheal) and Jason (keturah) Lowe, great-granddaughters Alysa, Ryanna, Jessalyn, Jasmine and Keira Lowe, great great granddaughter Natalie Meyer and numerous nieces and nephews.Friends are welcome to attend the Memorial Service Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA.
