Edward Raymond Brenner's Obituary
Edward Brenner was born November 16, 1946 and died August 8, 2016. He was born in San Francisco, CA where he attended St. Gabriels Elementary School and St. Ignatius College Preparatory High School. Ed received his undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco. He was named the Outstanding Graduate from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he received his Juris of Doctor degree. Ed practiced law in Sacramento for 35 years. Having grown up in San Francisco, Ed was a devout 49ers, Giants and Warriors fan. Ed was a great father to his sons Myles and Jason and always involved himself with all their sports activities. He loved coaching and umpiring their teams or just being a spectator at their games. Ed’s passion for politics led to many lively discussions with others, especially those with the opposite point of view. He enjoyed golf and being with people and with his great sense of humor, you could always count on him for being the life of the party. He was truly a wonderful, caring person and his greatest love was being with family. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, of 42 years, his sons Myles and Jason, brothers Ron (Candy) and John, as well as his nieces Victoria and Lauren, and Aunt Eleanor. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed’s memory to the American Cancer .
