Donna Grace Montagne was born in Missouri on September 11, 1935 and passed away on August 27, 2023 in Rancho Cordova, California.
Donna was a very caring and gentle nurse who worked at Mercy Hospital for 37 years.
She was born to care for others - that was God's plan for her. Donna was the epitome of kindness and concern for others.
And she had a feisty side to her with a good sense of humor. She could relate to the phrase "Git 'er done."
Donna was kind of a tomboy who played softball, bicycled, and mowed the lawn at the age of 74.
She loved gardening, watching Westerns, trips to South Lake Tahoe, and also enjoyed watching baseball and football games with her family.
Donna's love, kindness, and generosity are missed by her family. She will be loved forever.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Montagne. She is survived by her children Randal Montagne (Dawn), Bradley Montagne (Christie), and Christy Holdren, and grandchildren Jenna and Gabe.
