McCown, Donald TravisEntered into rest peacefully, Thursday, December 15, 2011. He was born in Tecumseh, OK on September 14, 1921. He was preceeded in death by his wife Carlene and couldn’t wait to be reunited with her. They now have their wish. A Sacrament resident since 1959. Devoted father of Dianne (Ron), Donene (Rand), Eileen and Jon (Barbara). Also survived by his sister Nora Lewis, numerous grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.Don was a proud WWII Navy Veteran who loved his country, church and family deeply. He was very active and provided unselfish service to our church. Our father will be missed by all those lives he touched.Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Tuesday, December 27, 2011, 12:00 noon to 1:00pm. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm, both at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CAIn Lieu of flowers please make donations to Alzheimers Assn.
