Donald "Donny" Ralph Cox's Obituary
Donald "Donny" Ralph Cox lost his battle with Congestive Heart Failure and Pneumonia and was reunited with his loving wife Donna Marie on October 7th, 2022. He passed away at home after requesting Long John Silvers for lunch, apparently he was the one keeping therm in business. He was the youngest of 3 children of Carl and Sylvia Cox. He is survived by his 3 daughters Sylvia Ference (Curtis), Rhonda Tiner (Rod), Gina Cox-Goodpaster (Racheal), his Companion Lynn Painter, his grandchildren, Rodney Tiner, James Ference (Dana), Stephen Ference (Sarah), Britni Tiner-Schwartz (Robert), Breeona Cox, Darian Cox, and his 7 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his Wife Donna Marie, Father Carl, Mother Sylvia, Brothers Carl David and Bob. Don could light up a room with his smile if you mentioned anything that went fast and furious. He happened to know a little bit about shuffle boarding and was bestowed the honor of being named to the California Shuffleboard Hall of Fame! Besides going fast and curving shuffle weights, he loved cooking his famous Mexican Steak and Chiles Rellenos. As a self-proclaimed pro-amateur gambler, you may have found him sneaking away to Reno or Thunder Valley, however, he was always quick to give his last $20 to those in need. Don never met a Dog that he didn't like, so if you would please save the flowers and donate in his name to your local SPCA instead. The family will hold a private Celebration of Life and the "Rat Pack" Shuffle Board Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in December. The family will be forever grateful for his companion, Lynn Painter, for all her love and support in recent years. We couldn't have done it without you.
