Dolores Helen Marie Gerlach-Herrera's Obituary
Dolores Helen Marie Gerlach-Herrera née Montalbo was born to Irene Helen Rivera Montalbo née Catala and Ramon Rodriguez Montalbo on October 3rd, 1934. She had a large family of thirteen siblings. She worked as a teacher’s aide and later went to work at the California State lottery where she met her husband Thomas. Thomas and his "Dear" (his affectionate nickname for Dolores) later married in 1986. Dolores is survived by her sister Matilda (Tilly), and brother Louis, her daughters Rosemary, Katherine, Joyce, Lillian, Theresa, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and beyond as the family tree continues to blossom. Dolores was loved by many for her hilarious sayings, her sweet tooth, and the many memories we all created with her. She entered into heaven to join her daughters Rebecca and Irene and her husband Thomas on April 11, 2020. Her memory lives on inside of us and she will be deeply missed.
