Dolan Howard Hobbs' Obituary
Dolan Howard Hobbs – April 12, 1933 to November 16, 2013. Dolan was born in Long Run, Missouri and moved to California when he was three. He served in the Army from 1951 to 1953. Dolan married Yvonne Matthews November 3, 1956 and raised their family in Elk Grove. They have two children Susan Bloyed (Guy) and Joseph Hobbs (Jennifer) and three grandchildren Cody and Zach Goodwin, and Gwendolyn Hobbs.
Dolan worked as an electrician/mechanic at Proctor and Gamble for 38 years. He loved the outdoors and spent much time hunting, fishing, and camping with his family. Dolan was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of VFW 1247.
After retirement Dolan spent a lot of time in Lake Tahoe building a vacation house. He also spent a lot of time in his birth state of Missouri on land his grandparents originally owned and which he purchased.
Services will be held at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes Thursday November 21, 2013 at 10:00 am
