Diane Friend's Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dearest Diane McCarty Friend, who died at the age of 75 on October 23, 2023. Born on a winter's day, she was a Sacramento resident all her life. A cosmetologist and former salon owner, she enjoyed making her clients feel beautiful and valued. She adored the young children of her family, doting on her many nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister, Norma Dillon of Sacramento, her brother, Bill McCarty of Shingle Springs, and a considerable extended family who will miss her greatly. A celebration of life will be held for her at AMVets, 7215 Lindale Drive, Sacramento, CA 95828, on January 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
