BELL, Derold G.
Born November 15, 1945, in Sterling, CO. Lived in Sacramento, CA.
Graduated into Heaven on December 23, 2013 at age 68. He joins
his beloved mother Nina, his biological father Ira Bell, stepfather
Glen Sledd, twin brother Dean, brothers Ira Frank Jr., Arthur, Ted,
uncle Victor and his dog Charlie. Dearly missed by special friend
Ernest and nephews and nieces. Derold worked for DMV for many
years retiring from the State of California. He was a kind,
compassionate man always thinking of others. He was a hard
worker who single-handedly renovated his family’s home from top to
bottom so that his mother Nina could have a nice home. For years
he took care of her while she was battling cancer and his twin
brother Dean who became disabled after a motorcycle accident. He
did volunteer work at Loaves and Fishes. Friends and family are
invited to a memorial service and interment at Sunset Lawn
Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park, 4701 Marysville Blvd.,
Sacramento, CA 95838 on January 27, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.
