Dennis Ray Keen's Obituary
Dennis Ray Keen was born on March 24, 1948 in Sacramento, CA to Clarence Keen and Evelyn Sutton. He succumbed to his cancer on January 23, 2017 I Kirkland, WA with his son-in-law Joseph Jaquez by his side. He is survived by his daughter Lucinda Jaquez Keen, grandsons: David Keen, Edward Keen II and Titan Jaquez, great grandchildren: Jesse Keen and Leah Keen, Aunts: Willie Lunch, Velma and Uncle George Sutton, his brother: Teddy Keen, seven nieces, six nephews and many, many cousins. Preceded in death by his mother and father, sister Linda Lane, brothers Ronnie Keen, Dewayne Keen, and his son Edward Keen. He grew up and spent the majority of his life in the Sacramento area. He attended Grant High School and worked for Nabisco. He liked to camp in the summers with family and friends. He also like to shoot and collect guns. He lived in New Jersey, Ohio, Arizona and the last 10 years of his life in Muldrow, Ok. He gave the last two months of his life to his daughter by moving to Lynnwood, WA. He was a kind, generous, loving man who worked hard to provide for his family.. He would do anything for anyone, family or friend, you could never be a stranger in his house, all were welcome. His final resting spot will be near his son at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes in Sacramento, CA.
