Oh how I loved my Daddy. I was lucky, of all his children I got to spend more one on one time with him as a child than any of my siblings. Mom worked day shift and Dad worked swing so he was responsible for getting me dressed, fed and off to school when I was in the 1st grade. I'll always remember sitting down at the table to eat our lunch together, just the two of us. He was the best father a girl could ask for, God truly blessed me when he sent Dad our way. I thought of him today and a song came to mind that says it for me. "Oh My Papa" written by Paul Burkhand, John Turner and Geoffrey Parson. It made me cry as I sang it.Oh my papa, to me he was so wonderful.Oh my papa, to me he was so good.No one could be, so gentle and so lovable.Oh my papa, he always understood.Gone are the days when he would take me on his kneeand with a smile he'd change my tears to laughter.Oh my papa, so funny, so adorableAlways the clown so funny in his way.Oh my papa, to me he was so wonderful.Deep in my heart I miss him so today.I love you Daddy! Your daughter, Eileen
