Darlene Elizabeth Coe's Obituary
COE, DARLENE ELIZABETH a resident of West Sacramento for the last 72 years, was born on April 11, 1931 in Mitchell, SD. She attended Trinity Lutheran School in Sacramento, Ca. She graduated from Woodland High School and worked for the Rice Growers Association in West Sacramento. She died peacefully in Sacramento, Ca. on May 17, 2013 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas Hoeltzner and Elizabeth Hart, her husband of 61 years Carthen 'Tex' Coe and son, Duane C. Coe. She is survived by two loving daughters, Deanna (Joe) Snyder of Placerville, CA, and Deborah McMurphy of West Sacramento, CA, one brother, Robert Hart of West Sacramento, CA, 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In life she maintained her family's home and assisted her husband with their business, COE'S Trucking. She loved dancing, working in her garden and her many cats. Family was always a great joy for her. The family invites you to attend a viewing Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 4pm to 8pm and the funeral services on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacramento.
