Daniel Leroy Nordman's Obituary
Daniel Leroy Nordman, of Pollock Pines, passed peacefully on August 6, 2023. Daniel, was preceded in death by his adoring wife Lora, of 72 years. Together, they designed and built their dream home in the beauty of Pollock Pines where they were members of the Camino Seventh Day Adventist Church. Daniel was born a twin, on September 20, 1928, in Cook, Illinois. He and his twin brother David, grew up in Oakland with 3 brothers. Dan graduated from Oakland Tech High School and served in the Army, during the Korean War. He was an accomplished musician who played 7 instruments and entertained many with his steel guitar skills. Daniel will be greatly missed by his entire family. His 2 children and their spouses: Kathy & Beau Billingsley and Randy & Debbie Nordman. His 5 grandchildren: Nicholas Nordman, Christopher Nordman, Daniel Clark, Robert Clark, Kristina Vasquez and their spouses, as well as his 4 great grandchildren. There will be a private burial at Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward.
