ELLSWORTH, Dana Denise's Obituary
IIt is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dana Denise Ellsworth, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was born on October 5th, 1960 in Sacramento, California where she maintained a lifelong residency. Dana passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024 (age 64) surrounded by close family who ensured every one of her last wishes were met.
Dana’s vibrant spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends made her a pillar in the lives of all who knew her. As a mother, she was endlessly devoted, offering support, guidance, and love to all her children, whether she birthed them or not. Her warmth, laughter, and ability to make everyone feel at home will be remembered by all who had the privilege of being in her presence. Dana’s love for the Oakland A’s and her days spent at the beach were defining aspects of her life, where she found joy, peace, and a sense of belonging. Her legacy will live on through the countless memories shared by her loved ones, and her influence will continue to inspire those who carry her love in their hearts.
Dana was predeceased by her parents, David and Barbara Devault, her father-in-law, William Ellsworth, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Steve and Jannine Chadaris.
She is survived and forever remembered by her husband Ferrin, her children Justin, Baylee (fiancée John Swidrak), Arianna AKA Batman (husband Stephen), granddaughter Sophia, and her siblings, Michelle, Michael, and Deedee. Dana’s love and impact will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
A celebration of Dana’s life will be held at the American Legion Post 521 in Rio Linda on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at 3 pm. This will be a potluck style gathering, we ask that you bring your favorite dish and wear your most vibrant colors (no black please, tie dyes or florals).
