Dana was a student in my 7th grade English class. I taught for 36 years, so I don't remember every student, but she stood out. She always had a smile on her face when she came into class, and she was ready to listen and work. She had a little twinkle in her eye. I am so sorry for your loss. Dana and I only knew one another by face/class in high school and we always greeted eachother but it wasn’t until FB that we exchanged and shared our stories, photos and a love for the Oakland A’s. You will be so missed, Dana. Sending my most sincere condolences to Dana’s family.
