Daisy Mae Richards' Obituary
DAISY MAE RICHARDS entered into rest Sunday, April 22, 2012 in Sacramento, CA at the age of 88. Born July 12, 1923 a native of DeQueen, Arkansas. She is survived by her life partner of 11 years, Merrill Turpin; daughter Pauline Badgley; sister Phyllis Coffman and brother Lloyd Waters. Daisy is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members.Daisy is preceded in death by her parents Anna May Waters and Walter Waters; sister Joyce; brother Duke; first husband Paul Jessee; second husband Bill Richards; son Butch and daughter Phyllis Jean. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Stanford Settlement. A visitation will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 4:00-8:00pm and funeral service Friday, April 27, 2012 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center in Daisy's memory.
