Dearest Uncle Jun,
Thank you for all the wonderful memories you've created with us. From the moment you arrived in the US to live/be with your Ate and us kids to the day you transitioned into Heaven, your consistently lovely, kind, non-judgmental and beautiful soul has always been a refreshing and comforting light in our lives. I will always remember your laugh and your carefree nature. I will always remember our time spent with you at our house in South San Francisco, and your highly-advanced billiard skills on our Filipino pool table played with wooden disks. I will always remember riding in your orange VW bug, and your laughter that filled our home in SSF and your homes in Daly City and San Jose. I will always remember your stories about being more interested in pool than school as a kid :), your VIP status at Thunder Valley, and the excitement you had while sharing your story of meeting Charles Schwab at your last job. I will always remember the recording you made of us when we were kids, which revealed I truly was born a nerd lol: While everyone either sang or did something artistic and creative on your cassette-taped recordings, I chose to recite the pledge of allegiance. Yes, I was and may still be a nerd today lol. But, you being you, you never judged or laughed at me. Ever. I always felt that you accepted me for who I was without judgment...you truly knew the meaning of unconditional love. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and all the thoughtful holiday text greetings you sent me throughout the years as I was an adult. Thank you for being one of the sweetest uncles and a wonderful and loving younger brother to our Mom. Thank you for being you! May you be dancing and laughing in Heaven with Mom and Lola Baby! With all our love, Aileen, Megan and Colin
