Christopher Walker's Obituary
Loving Father, Son, Husband and Brother, Christopher Walker passed away peacefully in his home and entered into glory on December 7, 2014. Christopher Walker was born December 10, 1962 in Sacramento, CA. He was the third child born to the union of parents Jake Walker Jr and Oneta Walker. Chris attended Grant High School, where he graduated in 1981. Shortly thereafter he was employed by Setzer Forest Products where he worked for 33 years. It was there that he met Janya Khammuenwai in 1988. They were married on September 7, 2002. Growing up Chris loved playing basketball and dominoes (Bones) with family and friends. He enjoyed bowling and playing black jack. Chris was a long-time diehard fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Sacramento Kings. You could always find Chris sporting either of his favorite team hats. Chris was proceeded in death by his father, Jake Walker, Jr.
He leaves to mourn his passing:his wife Janya Walker, Mother, Oneta Walker, Daughter Marquisa Walker-Duhon. Son in law Abe Duhon, stepsons Ricky Khammuenwai and Andrew Ashwood. Brother, Kevin Walker, two sisters Debra Walker and Donna Rogers, two grandchildren, Christopher Walker and Kylie Duhon, two step-grandchildren, Skyler and Simien Khammuenwai, three nieces LaRonda King, Davinia Dexter and Brittany Walker, one nephew Dereck Walker and a host of relatives and friends.
