He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Elizabeth Lambert, Laura Newport, Joyce Bayer, Inamae Kirtley, Charles V. Turnett, Jr.,John Turknett, Mark Turknett and Barbara Turknett. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
