Lucero, Carmen's Obituary
Carmen M Lucero
February 19th, 1934 – November 18th, 2024
A long-term resident under the attentive and affectionate care of Steven Ronstadt, his staff Kelly, Elaina, and the rest of the staff of Loving Care Senior Living Home. Carmen slipped away on November 18th, 2024, to join her loving husband of 59 years, “Lucero,” as she referred to him.
She was born in Malaga, Spain but her adventurous spirit and desire to provide for her mother and herself, testament of her devotion and generosity. She moved to Tanger, Morocco, where she worked as a beautician and earned her certification for cosmetology. She met and married “Lucero” twice, once on April 29th and again on November 8th in 1956 in Udine, Italy. While traveling Europe, she became conversationally fluent in local languages. She finally settled in Sacramento, California.
Like the jewel that she was, she had many facets in her life, such a devoted loving wife, loving dedicated mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a creative artist in home decor, an excellent cook, and a talented seamstress and would excel at any hobby she would attempt.
She was a reliable trustworthy employee who was respected and loved by her management and coworkers. Her friends, who were many throughout the years, will recount her kindness and talents and dedication. And like the gem that she is will be admired and cherished.
She is survived by her children TJ Lucero, Maria Heasley, Vikki, Elizabeth Lucero Mason, and JJ Adams, and their respective families, sisters, and extended family members.
Services will be held at Sunset Lawn Chaple of the Chimes
4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento California on December 19th, 2024.
The viewing will start promptly at 11am and will conclude at 12 noon.
Services will begin at 1pm with a reception to follow.
