Ballejos, Carmen R's Obituary
On Friday, October 17, 2025, Carmen Ballejos, 78, of Sacramento, entered her Heavenly home. Carmen was a devoted woman of faith who loved the Lord and her family deeply. She lived a life that reflected God’s love and grace, leaving a lasting example for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to follow.
Carmen was born on February 11, 1947, in Fresno, California. She spent her childhood in the Sacramento children’s receiving home and St. Patrick’s home for children. When she was older, she lived with her siblings and graduated from Yuba city high.
Carmen was married for 48 years to her beloved husband, Roy Ballejos, with whom she built a lifetime of faith, love, and family.
Carmen loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and cherished God’s word. Though she was a humble and gentle soul, she was also a powerful prayer warrior and anointed singer. She loved sharing her gift of song to spread God’s love and win souls for Jesus. Together, she and her husband Roy joyfully brought the message of Christ to prisons, juvenile halls, and churches throughout the community. Only heaven knows the eternal impact of her many years of faithful prayer and ministry on her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her. She was a dedicated member of Capital Christian Center in Sacramento.
A celebration of Carmen’s life will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95838. A potluck reception will follow at Rio Linda Community Center, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate her beautiful life.
