When Carla and Sandy were little girls they would go on adventures, maybe to the backyard, maybe to the alley, etc. Though Sandy was brave in her own right, Carla would be the one with the mouth and would face down any enemies, be it people or spiders or whatever. She will be missed.

I am Carla's sister in law, Deann (married to Dave's brother FLoyd). I remember the first time I met her, she had John on a blanket on the floor. He was small. She was so attentive and caring for her son. We went to her and Dave's house, she made us feel at home and was always cooking. She made everything homemade. When we came to California she took us on tour to San Francisco & Alcatraz, it was a fun day. When she came to Denver without Dave, she would give us a call and visit us.Carla was such a giving person and dedicated to her husband and son.We love her for taking care of our brother in law and the patience she had.We will miss her visits and the laugh she had.
