Carl Wayne Miles (also known as Sly, Bear, and Caully) was born to Emerson and Annetta Miles on June 22nd, 1954, in Ipswich, England. Carl Wayne Miles’s final rest was on September 13th, 2019 after a long battle of cancer.
Carl Wayne Miles served in the US Military in the mid-70s, receiving a national defense service metal.
After a long struggle with addiction, Carl Wayne Miles began his journey of sobriety in 1998. Since then, he made it one of his life’s missions with helping others and being an anchor for others to hold onto when they needed him.
Carl Wayne Miles was known for his words of wisdom, his commitment to his sobriety for 21 years, and for the love he had towards his family and friends. He loved art, kung-Fu movies, spending time with his children and grandson, and food.
Carl Wayne Miles is survived by his daughters Illyanna Maisonet, Carlena and Joleen Miles, his son Carl Miles, his grandson Miles Crase, his brother Henry Miles, and his extended family and friends.
Carl Wayne Miles’s last request was that his ashes be spread on his father’s grave in Millen, Georgia. His family will make sure that this will happen.
