GEORGE, CARAWAY, entered into rest in Millbrae, CA, November 11, 2006 age 78. He was a native of Piggott, Arkansas born November 18, 1927. He is survived by his children Philip Alan George of Carthage, MO, Nancy Eileen George Vanderplueg of Onyx, CA, Fay Earline George Sarmento of Fair Oaks, CA and Patricia Ann George Henry of Fernley, NV. Brother of Vermal Earline Ryckeley of Red Boiling Springs, TN, Joe William George of Seneca, MO, Virginia Ermalee Warn of Neosho, MO, Adolph George of Goodman, MO and Fern Adell Stone of Anderson, CA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jacqueline Marie George and his wife of 43 years Idella Louise Chilton George. Caraway was very proud of his Shasta Indian heritage. He was also honored to serve during WWII. He worked very hard for many years as part of the American Legion assisting other Veterans and families with service related needs. The family invites you to attend a graveside service with military honors at 1:00pm on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park 4701 Marysville Blvd. Sacto., CA 922-5833.
