Bobby Ray Jones' Obituary
The greatest man I ever knew, my Dad. There are so many things to say about him I really don’t know where to start. He was a strong, hard working, determined, selfless, kind hearted and loving man. He loved his children and his family so much it hurt him. He used to sing the George Jones song to my mom that’s called I love you so much, it hurts me, which makes me smile. He taught his children all the things he learned from his childhood to be good and kind and forgive but the biggest thing he taught us was to love one another no matter what. He has his little sayings that we will all remember like: be good and people will like you better or believe half of what you hear and all of what you see, or I never seen the like. He loved little kids and if someone mistreated them he would get really upset. He loved inviting people to church and wanted everyone to know Jesus. He always said I love all my kids and my grandkids. He raised one of them as his own son and to this day Christopher Matthew Jones calls him dad because that’s what kind of heart he had. When Christopher said you are my dad, that made him feel so wonderful and he cried. He would do anything for anyone. If anyone had the heart of God, my Dad did. I can’t say enough about this man and I could go on for days with stories about how wonderful he was. He loved Jesus and used to talk to him all the time. I am thankful every day along with my siblings that God gave us such a wonderful man that we were proud to call Dad. He is in Heaven now with his two children that went before him, his brothers and sisters, Mom and Dad and so many more, when we laid him in the arms of Jesus. WE LOVE YOU DADDY ❤️
