Bobby Gene Cotter's Obituary
Bobby (Robert) Cotter Age 46, born July 25th, 1968; died unexpectedly on May 9th, 2015 in Sacramento. Bobby was raised in Sacramento, graduated from Grant Union High School and attended Heald Business College where he obtained his business degree. Bobby worked for the State of California for over 20 years where he was Senior Tax Compliance Representative for the Department of Health Care Services. Bobby was always there to help family and friends in need. He was kind and compassionate and adored by all who knew him. Bobby enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved gardening in his back yard. He also enjoyed cooking. Bobby was a believer and follower of Jesus Christ and was very strong in his Faith. He is survived by his mother, Ruby (Cotter) Gentry, his sister Glenda Eagle, his brother John Cotter (wife Betty), 3 nieces, 2 nephews, a great-niece, a great- nephew and his dear family friend Myriam Adam. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 15th at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4701 Marysville Blvd. in Sacramento. A pot luck reception will follow in Natomas.
