GRIFFIN, BillyEntered into rest on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at age 56. A native of Herlong, Calif., born Saturday, September 16, 1950, he was a resident of Sacramento for the past 50 years. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Bennie Griffin, David Griffin, Dennis Griffin, Betty Ritchie, Darrell Griffin, Sarah M. Grant, and Vivian Dobson, and Gustavus Griffin and by a host of nieces and nephews. Billy was a graduate of Grant High School in 1968 and served in the U.S. Army as a SP4 in Vietnam with an honorable discharge in 1971. He was preceded in death by both parents, Bennie Sr. and Sarah (Williams) Griffin.
