Beverly Ann Clark's Obituary
Our mom, Beverly Ann (Kirkbride) Clark, was accepted into the arms of Jesus on November 15th, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family. In her life she had various health issues but always recovered amazingly well. Recently her lung cancer returned for the third time and rapidly metastasized.
She was born May 17th, 1937 in Peoria, Illinois to William Kirkbride and Helen L (Schoch) Kirkbride.
Surviving are her 5 children; Timothy Henning Jr and wife Pauline of Arvada CO, Susan Henning and partner Greg MacLeod of Sacramento CA, Kathryn Lauer and husband Kurt of Sacramento CA, Larry Henning and wife Brandy of New Bern NC, Christine Vignoli and husband Ernie of Antelope CA, 11 grandchildren; Derek Jones, Nicole Davis, Lindsey Marsh, Laura Pollock, Timothy Henning III, Nick Mobley, Sidney and Deagan Henning, Ryan, Seth and Sage Vignoli; 4 great-grandchildren, and her beloved Aunt Dorothea Schoch of Peoria, Illinois. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
She attended Woodruff High School in Peoria, Illinois. She was a long time rate clerk for Burlington Northern transport in Peoria and transferred with the company to Denver, CO where she lived for 15 years. She graduated from Parks Junior College while in Denver. She returned to Peoria to assist with the care of her Uncle Larry Schoch. While in Peoria she worked at Ruppman Marketing. After suffering a stroke she moved to Sacramento, CA to be near her children where she helped raise her grandchildren. Her passion was children and her church. In addition to caring for her children and grandchildren, she assisted with children’s programs at church often driving the Sunday school bus. She enjoyed volunteering with any task needed by her church. She loved studying and discussing the Bible with people of all religions. She was a very giving person and shared what she had with others. She was a foster parent, involved with the Salvation Army, and enjoyed tending to the elderly. Later, in her 70’s she became involved with the Border Patrol Auxiliary. She was a die hard fan of the Denver Broncos.
We will miss her home cooked meals, her passion for what she believed is right, her love for us and our children, her great sense of humor, contagious laugh and her beautiful loving blue eyes.
