Betty Jo Brown's Obituary
Betty Jo Brown was born on March 29, 1969 in Annapolis, Maryland. Her father Jerry was in the Navy and they travelled much of her childhood, spending most of her early years in Honolulu, Hawaii and Alameda, CA. Her family settled in Alameda, CA and she graduated from Encinal High School in 1987. She returned to Hawaii shortly after graduation. In 1993 she gave birth to her Daughter Shaynah and made her way home to Alameda to raise her daughter and be home with family. She eventually found a second home at Berg Injury Lawyers. She started working for Berg Injury Lawyers in 1998 as a Case Opener in the Alameda Office. The firm was quickly growing and Betty was growing with it. She and Shaynah moved to Sacramento in 2000 to open the Berg office in Sacramento as one of the Case Managers. The Sacramento office was expanding and her role changed over the years, eventually becoming the Director of Operations for all locations. Betty will always be remembered for her love of animals, including her own 4 legged kids; Meiko, Manu, Scottie and Buddy. She was preceded in death by her Mother Tutusa. Betty is survived by her Father, Jerry; Brothers Albert, Jerry (Anne-Marie); Sister, Bernadette (Junior); Daughter, Shaynah. Betty had a special relationship with her Niece and Nephews: Nasya, Khaliq, Bingham and Jax. She will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Sunset Lawn on Saturday, December 12th, at 1:00 p.m.
