Lit a candle in memory of Bertha Elizabeth Bennett
After my husbands death in 2010 I relocated to Rio Linda to be close to my son and his family. Bertha was my next door neighbor and the first one to welcome me to the neighborhood. She was the sweetest, nicest, person I could have hoped for. She helpedme through the steps of adjusting to my new life as a widower. Bertha also told me about the community center where I still go to enjoy socializing and meals on wheels. She told me where to get the food baskets and even would collect one for me when I was away. She will be dearly missed. May she rest in peace and I truly express my deepest sympathy for you loss.Helen Stevenson
My condolences to the Family. She was a neat lady and am glad I knew her. I really enjoyed seeing her again last summer and meeting the rest of the family. My prayers are with you all. Love you, Mike Mary Preece

Dear Bennett Family, Bob and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you at the difficult time. We loved Bert–she was very special and she will be missed by all who knew her. I am thankful that I have had the privilege of knowing her for the past 48 years (Bob for the past 27 years) , and we will dearly miss our telephone and written exchanges with her. We send our love and support, Bob and Paulena
