Beatrice L. Cross' Obituary
Beatrice (Betty) Lavonne Cross, formerly of Rio Linda, passed away February 13, 2016 at the age of 89 in McKinleyville, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Leona Weatherman; loving husband, Charles Cross; three brothers, James, Gene, and John Weatherman; three sisters; Helen Cross, Opal Ibbotson, Juanita Reiswig and son-in-law Paul Siegel. Betty is survived by her brother, Howard Weatherman (Donna); two daughters, Diane Preston (Larry), and Karen Siegel; three granddaughters, Rebecca Lamoreaux (Matt), Tessa Schienle (Justin), Leah Wills (Jess); two great grandsons, Xavier Lamoreaux and Randall Paul Schienle and many nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren filled her life with unending happiness. Betty was a loving devoted wife and amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who touched many lives. She will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and beautiful flower gardens. Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1:00pm at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, 4701 Marysville Blvd.
