Atiim Smith, born on Feb. 27, 1946 in Gallup, New Mexico to Lois M Birmingham-Smith and George C. Smith Sr. Alumni of Booker T. Washington High School (Sapulpa, OK). Grant Union High School and American River College. Retired from Civil Service (McClellan Air Force Base), County of Sacramento, A. Teichert Corp. and owned operated a successful security service. A member of The Church of Christ. Atiim’s sunset was September 27, 2014. Preceded in death his mother, father and brother Joseph C. Smith Sr. He leaves to mourn his passing; his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Veta Bernice Lewis-Smith, son Atiba Smith, daughter Beya Pasha (Omar Sr), grandchildren Alex Francis, Omar Pasha Jr., Veta Pasha, Atiya Smith and Arron Holmes, sisters Kathyn Wiggins, Joyann Willis, Avis Marshall (Charles) and Darla Smith, brothers Robert (Butter) Smith (Cladette) and Howard Smith (Grace), a host of nieces, nephews, great and grand relatives, cousins and friends. Loving husband, grandfather, father, brother son and friend. We Love You Atiim.
