Arthur Lee Cecil's Obituary
Arthur Lee Cecil entered into rest October 10, 2013, in Elverta, California. He was born October 23, 1933 in Sharon, Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife Betty J. Cecil of 39 years, his children Jerry Cecil, Mike Austin, Marty Austin, Kelly Austin, Paul Austin III, Karen Austin-Gums, and Shannon Cecil. He is also survived by his sister Opal Martin, 27 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by sons Arthur Cecil Jr., and Mitchell Bradley Austin, parents George and Lucille Cecil. Arthur was a lifetime member of the VFW. He also served in the U.S. Army and Korean War. He married the love of his life, Betty, and had 9 children. He was hard working from the age of 14, working the land driving heavy equipment, tractors, and big rigs. His work ethics lead him to own his own trucking company. “Arts Trucking”. He was truly the patriarch of our family and admired by all. Visitation will be Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 4-8PM.
