Anthony Allen Campbell's Obituary
Anthony “Tony” Allen Campbell was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He left us suddenly on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 55 years old.
He was born to Joseph and Vicki Campbell on October 29, 1966, in Fall River Mills, CA. Anthony was the second of 5 children and the oldest boy. Growing up, he had several nicknames to answer Bones, Tony, Campbell Kid, or one of The Boys. After leaving Fall River Mills, his mom settled in Quincy, California, where he graduated from Quincy Jr. Sr. High School in 1985. Anthony was active in school, playing sports year-round. You could find him working at Gray's Flower Garden during the summer. Over the years in Quincy, his circle of friends grew. He was loved by many. While in Quincy, he met the mother of his children, Regina (Miles) Antoine, and they were married on April 5, 1986. To this union, Antwonette and Sherida were born.
After leaving Quincy, Tony started working for WinCo (WareMart) in 1999. He was a hard, dedicated employee for twenty-three years. During his time with WinCo, he was a manager and mentor to many young men. He understood the importance of being a positive role model and lifting as he climbed.
Tony remarried on June 19, 2010, to his beautiful wife, Eulaliah “LayLay” Parr. Their families came together to grow with two daughters Deelicia Nguyen and Jazzmine Nguyen and the only son Tiernan Nguyen. Tony was just one of those persons who knew what to do with his girls (spoil them). All the children loved him dearly. He loved being with his wife. They spent time riding bikes, going swimming together (even though she didn’t swim), sitting outside on the patio just talking and listening to music. Their favorite tv show to watch together was Family Feud and he looked forward to trying new recipes that his “Wifey” made without complaining when it wasn’t good.
In his free time, he enjoyed sitting by the fire, camping, swimming, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed eating salami, cheese, and crackers and watching his favorite football team, the San Francisco 49ers.
Tony was predeceased by his mother, Vicki Jo Bullene, his father, Joseph LaClaire Campbell III, his grandparents, and his father-in-law Ennis Miles.
Tony is survived by his wife, LayLay Campbell; his children Antwonette (Jon) Ross; Sherida Nicole Fay Campbell (Brandon Stoute); his step-children Deelicia, Jazzmine (Anthony), Tiernan; his grandchildren Lannette Deja, Amaiya, Jon, Nikeysa Andrea-Rae, Tavion Andre-Anthony, his step grandchildren Layah and Daelyn Gordon; his siblings Kelly (Rick) Hemphill, Joe (Amy) Campbell, Chris (Callene) Campbell, Shelly Ashley; his godchildren Marquishia Andrews, Passion Rich, and Angelo Sanchez; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
